BEFORE AND AFTER THE PRACTICE

Before doing this practice I knew, thanks to lesson 2, the diferent governing bodies and governing positions, but I didn't know much about the specific regulations of the school council and the teachers board.

Once I did the practice I realized that the head of studies takes almost all the decisions alone, like choosing the head of studies, and I think that he or she must choose the best option of some questions with the approval of the teaching board.

 The hardest thing for me was to decide wich governing body should perform some functions of  the school. The director has too many responsabilities and I think that some of them can be shared with the teacher board.

 So , according to Gago Rodríguez(2006), the teacher board is aware of the reality and knows that the direction must be a shared responsability that can't be assumed by only one person.

 In my case I think I should learn more about the regulations of the governing bodies. After this practice I've learnt that the school council is regulated by the organic aw for the improvement of the quality on education and also by the annual general programme; but I don't know by who are regulated other governing bodies.

While I was on youtube searching information about the governing bodies I found this video wich talks about the school Counselors. I think that we all should know what a school Counselor is and what they do because their job is a key to end up with the students biggest problems.

LESSON 3: Documents for Educational Management Institutions

                              SUMMARY In the Lesson 3 we have studied the most important documents of the school centre. This documents are the Educational Project and the Annual General Programme. The educational Project is a document that among other things describes the organisation of the centre, and the Annual General Plan is a document inside the Educatnal Project that shows the school's planning, management and performance and also clarifies aspects included in the Educational Project. BEFORE AND AFTER STUDYING Before this Lesson I knew nothing about this documents or schools documents in general. I knew that schools had some documents that pick up all the information about the centres' plans but I could not even  imagine their magnitude and their value. PRACTICE 9

                        BEFORE AND AFTER THE PRACTICE Before doing this practice I knew something about the association of mothers and fathers thanks to lesson 9, where we learned about the participation in the school. However, In this practice we have studyied deeply what is the AMPA, it's functions, regulations, advantages, disadvantages... After doing this activity I know that AMPA also forms part of the teacher board and I realized how many responsabilities they have, such as organizing all the school's events and school trips for students and making desicions with the director.
